What you might not know is that s***m takes roughly 70–90 days to develop, meaning the s***m involved in conception today is largely a reflection of a man's diet, sleep, stress levels, toxic exposures, and overall health over the previous 2–3 months.

At the same time, the healthiest pregnancies happen when both parents are supporting their health, lowering toxic burden, improving metabolic function, and creating the best possible environment for conception.

I’ve seen this firsthand with couples I’ve worked with in practice.

One client told me she wanted to prepare her body to be as clean and toxin-free as possible before trying to conceive. After several months of supporting both her and her husband’s health, they became pregnant in the very first month of trying.

So, if you’re exploring fertility support or suspect mold or mycotoxin exposure may be playing a role, comment “ready” and I’ll send you the next step.

One of the biggest things I see in practice is people trying to “out-supplement” poor recovery. They’re taking binders, detox supplements, minerals, peptides, antimicrobials… but sleeping 5–6 hours, scrolling late at night, running on stress hormones, and waking up exhausted every morning.

At some point, the body can only compensate for so long.

Sleep is one of the main times the body shifts into repair physiology. During deep sleep, we see important changes in mitochondrial recovery, oxidative stress balance, membrane repair, nervous system regulation, hormone signaling, immune function, and glymphatic activity in the brain.

Chronic sleep disruption can keep the body in a more defensive physiological state with higher sympathetic activation, cortisol dysregulation, inflammatory signaling, and reduced recovery capacity.

This is why many people continue adding more supplements and protocols without seeing long-term improvement. If the foundations that regulate recovery are impaired, the body’s ability to heal and adapt becomes compromised at the cellular level.

This is also why I focus so heavily on circadian biology, light exposure, sleep timing, blood sugar regulation, nervous system inputs, EMFs, and sleep environment in practice.

Inside the Wellness Community, we go much deeper into topics like sleep, nervous system regulation, cellular recovery, mold toxicity, and mitochondrial health through weekly live Q&A calls where I answer your questions directly.

Comment "wellness community" to join the group, and tell me there what's impacting your recovery the most right now.

Grounding is one of those things I’ve consistently come back to because I genuinely notice a difference in how I feel when I spend more time connected to the earth, especially during stressful seasons, heavy travel, or periods where my nervous system feels overloaded.

Research has shown that grounding may help support the nervous system, blood flow, inflammation, and oxidative stress. But honestly, sometimes it’s as simple as getting outside more, walking barefoot on natural surfaces, and spending time in nature. Most people feel calmer without even realizing why.

I like using grounding shoes because they’re designed to maintain an electrical connection to the earth when you’re walking on grounded surfaces like sand, grass, soil, or natural terrain. They’re really practical for walks and hiking too.

If you want the grounding shoes I use along with some of my favorite nervous system and recovery tools, comment “shoes” and I’ll send the link.
