Last week, ESVAGT welcomed Martec Esbjerg onboard ESVAGT BETA, where a class of Ordinary Shipโs Assistant gained insight into everyday life at sea.
For us, it is important to give future colleagues a realistic understanding of the work onboard, as well as an introduction to what they can expect from a potential career with ESVAGT. During the visit, the students followed daily operations closely and, among other things, experienced an early morning crew change, where activities are ongoing around the clock.
As guests, they observed from the sidelines but gained a valuable understanding of the tasks, collaboration, and responsibilities onboard.
We are pleased that the visit provided both inspiration and has since led to the employment of several newly qualified ordinary Shipโs Assistant.
