GIS - Gestalt Institute of Scandinavia: Lectures for Life & Leadership GIS International was founded in 1976.

At the moment there are more than 120 students from all of the Nordic countries and Estonia involved in ongoing programs. In September 2008 the Institute was accrediated in EAGT (European Association for Gestalt Therapy) and EAP (The European Association for Psychotherapy).

The first two years of Gestalt training at GIS are devoted to personal and relational development. A chance to explore your ways of being—with yourself and with others.

For some, these two years are enough. For others, something opens.

Curiosity deepens into a professional path, and the journey continues into the four-year education to become a Gestalt therapist.
