💫What’s the rush? Where are you trying to get to?
Sometimes the real problem is the pressure we apply to our “healing” journey.
🌱 Healing is always more difficult when we are being self critical or judging ourselves for where we are at rather than allowing whatever is, to be.
✨ Instead of thinking you need to change, look at it another way: what can you accept about yourself here and now?
🌿 Healing is in its deepest essence, a journey to integration of all the parts of ourselves we’ve rejected along the way.
Out of self-protection, we may have suppressed certain feelings, or needs.
We may have have abandoned certain dreams, kept ourselves small, or minimized our own sensitivity in an effort to find or keep love.
⭐️ Healing isn’t about changing who we are, or making ourselves “better” by being someone different.
Healing is ultimately about coming home to our own innocence.
🍃 Be gentle with yourself in this process. This is about you learning to truly be with all of yourself.
No-one is perfect. Even the most “healed” person is going to have stuff come up time and time again.
Being healed doesn’t mean you will no longer feel triggered or have intense emotions like anger or sadness.
All that will shift as you learn deeper self-acceptance, is how you respond in those moments.
💛 More self-loving - this is the path. ❤️
🌿 When negative thoughts or harsh judgements arise in your mind, practice noticing your thoughts without attaching to them.
We all have negative thoughts, we all have fears, but in each moment, we have a choice:
🌟 We can follow the thought and attach to it as truth, or we can create a bit of separation from our thoughts and witness them with no judgement at all.
🌱 Observe, accept, and let it go. This is the practice of being “awake” in relationship to ourselves and others.
💛 Take a deep breath, you’re doing great.
This is a life long journey. 💚🧘♀️🧘🏼♂️
