Guitar & Didge Combo

First time I’ve really given this a proper go… and I must say, it’s not easy! 😂

I’m no expert on the didge or the guitar, but that’s kind of the point. You don’t have to master something before you’re allowed to enjoy it.

Playing around, listening, finding what works, getting it wrong and trying again…

And I have to say, it’s soooo much fun! 🙏🏼

Sometimes creating is simply about letting yourself play.

I’ve spent many days over the last 2 weeks customising this beautiful didgeridoo, carefully smoothing the inside, crafting a custom wooden mouthpiece, and finishing the outside with a natural oil to create a simple, natural look that lets the wood speak for itself.

The sound you hear in this video is this very didgeridoo, playing in the key of D.

It has been a truly enjoyable project, and I’m really happy with how it has turned out.
