The to***co ceremony is a powerful traditional cleansing that we now perform before ayahuasca ceremonies. It can be especially beneficial for people who have previously used drugs, consumed large amounts of alcohol, or taken various medications, helping them arrive at the ayahuasca ceremony much better prepared.
To***co can also help remove very heavy energies that people carry within themselves. After drinking it, the person waits for the to***co to take effect and then vomits, usually experiencing a great sense of relief afterward. The rest of the day is dedicated entirely to rest.
I personally undergo this cleansing mainly because I am postpartum and still feel the need to cleanse my body deeply. I also want to gain as much personal experience with to***co as possible and understand more fully how it works.
Thanks to this thorough preparation, people often vomit very little—or sometimes not at all—during the following ayahuasca ceremony. The to***co ceremony is therefore a powerful and profound preparation for working with ayahuasca.
