Reiki is a gentle, healing therapy. It reduces stress and relieves pain. A tool to help us maintain a balanced, relaxed mind and body.

When we have a better understanding of our feelings and experiences, it becomes easier to cultivate Self-Love! My path aligned with Reiki 10 years ago. At that point, I lived in Shanghai, China. Looking back, I feel that it was divine timing. Reiki entered my life when I was searching for something deeper in myself and that’s when I met my teacher Sera Shivan. As I progressed through the levels to become a Reiki Master, my awareness and perspective of myself changed. It’s my life’s desire to be of service to others and help them actualize this for themselves. In essence, to me, Reiki is a healing tool! It cultivates self-love and increases our awareness of self-power. It heals and helps us to maintain a balance in life.

The color red represents the root chakra. If we are not strong and rooted in this chakra, an imbalance will be present in the upward chakras as well. Focus your attention and love on your connection to mother earth and your connection with your inner self. Strengthen this relationship, and it will ripple outward to all other areas of your life.

We are beings of thoughts and feelings. Sometimes we are overcome with emotions and are not always aware of how they relate to our thought patterns. Reiki helps us to become aware of the relationship between thought patterns and feelings. This awareness brings us closer to taking control of our emotions/feelings.

We all have the divine spark within! At times our bodies and emotional/mental bodies get congested and blocked. We feel cold and numb on the inside. Reiki helps us to clear these blockages and congestions. When we are in a state of balance, our inner spark burns with motivation and inspiration. We feel good about ourselves and radiate warmth and love to those around us.

Tranquility - Peace- Calmness
These are states of being that we all strive to feel or achieve. Within them lies the chance to reflect and transform. Unfortunately, most of us are too busy/stressed out to achieve these transformational states of awareness.
Reiki helps us to direct ourselves to these emotions and to be at peace within ourselves.

White Sage!
Sage is a low-growing shrub that belongs to the Salvia Family. Burning sage has numerous benefits. It can clear, cleanse and purify spaces and objects and can be used in clearing our own energy fields. A number of Scientific studies have shown that burning sage has antimicrobial and antibacterial qualities. Before a Reiki Treatment, I always use sage to clear the space as well as the energy field of the client.

Crystals are one of the wonderful gifts from the earth. Each crystal has a unique vibration that resonates with a different chakra. During a Reiki Treatment, the practitioner uses crystals to boost and harmonize the energy in each of the 7 chakras.
