Musheez® in the news again.

Human clinical research involving medicinal mushrooms is growing fast but significant gaps in crucial detail make it extremely challenging to translate the science into real world interventions, according to Robin Gurney, MD at Musheez.

We set out to answer a simple question: what is the right dosage for functional mushrooms?

The deeper we looked, the clearer it became that the bigger issue was not the number e.g. 1000mg per day, 3g per day - it was how well the tested mushroom material had actually been described.

That led us to publish a new paper on reporting gaps in human Lion’s Mane and Reishi studies, and to propose an eight-part practical framework for future trials.

Before we argue about the perfect dose, we need to get much better at describing the tested material behind the number. Really.
