In continuity with Egyptian Venous Forum program on Basic Research Lectures in Vascular Surgery series dedicated to the junior resident starting their journey in research field, yesterday we listened in live session to the 3rd lecture which featured an invaluable presentation by Dr Soheil Nagiub, FACS Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon.
Dr. Soheil presented a streamlined, 10-step roadmap designed to simplify the creation of a solid research protocol and navigate ethical approvals seamlessly.

The EVF extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. Soheil for his dedicated time and commitment to enhancing the research capabilities of our vascular community.

We had a fantastic and highly educational session at this week’s EVF meeting !

A special thank you to our intern doctor, Dr. Jehad Saber, from at Alexandria Main University Hospital for presenting an outstanding and complex case titled:

"Recurrent Central Venous Thrombosis in a Hemodialysis Patient"

Dr. Jehad walked us through the intricate details of the patient's condition and the specific treatment techniques utilized.

The presentation sparked a deep, vibrant discussion that opened up collateral ideas regarding how this condition is practiced and managed across different countries.

Attendees actively shared their own experiences and insights from similar challenging cases.

It was an incredibly fruitful case and discussion. We all walked away having learned a lot! Thanks to Dr. Jehad for the hard work and excellent presentation.

Held under the expert supervision of the Egyptian Venous Forum, this session dives deep into the core mechanics of endovascular repair with the lecture: "EVAR From A to Z". In this session, led by Dr. Remon Nassim, we explore everything from the historical "time bombs" of early aortic surgery to the exact technical roadmaps—Selection, Sizing, Setup, Steps, and Surveillance—required to master modern EVAR. For a full deep dive into these schematics, clinical roadmaps, and case planning worksheets.
