Today my dear Lucy and I visited Sirius, the German Shepherd lady that was dumped in the streets recently. Sirius is currently residing at a plantage next to my house where is a lot of shade and also pools with water for watering the plants. We brought her food and a big bowl of water. I will try to get her in the clinic today for a spa and tick treatment. She is already doing better. 🌼🍀💗🌴🌸🐕💮

Tommy never had a bed before and today he owns a huge mattress. Finally he can relax and sleep comfortable.

We still can't believe that this little guy could survive for more than a week in the streets with his hind legs tied. And there is more. We suspect some broken bones in his front legs. We will make x-rays.

His wounds on his hind legs are healing fast. He is most of the day relaxing on his bed among some furry friends while Mohamed is watching over him.

In the back you can see some naughty puppies stealing dry food from my bag. But today all is allowed since Tommy finally found some peace and happiness. 🐕💗

Feeding the German Shepherd lady fresh chicken and rice. She loved it so much. For the first time I saw a wagging tail. She was hiding a bit while watching me feeding different packs and she must have thought I forgot her. No way, I saved the best for her and she even got some meet from a tok tok driver. She is beautiful and I will call her Sirius after the dog star. She is weak and need lots of food and love. But tonight, tonight she smiled. 💗⭐

Remember Saphir, the skinny boy with mange? This is Saphir today. He found a best friend in Suri, a girl residing at a restaurant. Saphir is totally into food so this place is a perfect spot. And who can reject such a sweet fellow? When I walked up to them I saw him dancing among the people that were eating on a terrace. He is such a happy boy now. Only a month ago he barely had hair and was skin over bones. Look at him now! When he sees me he is running up to me, circling, dancing, kissing, hugging and even talking all at the same time. The dog that was injured after people tied his hind legs with a rope was brought to the clinic today.

First he got a bath to wash all the dirt and sad memories off. Then they shaved the hair around the wounds and treated the wounds.

He was very relaxed with all the new people and the new place.

We named him Tommy. We really hope to see progress on his legs and his mobility. We also hope we can help him forget about the assaults.

When you think things can't get worse... An absolute heartbreaking case.

This dog was dumped in front of my house about a week ago. He was laying next to a rice bag and once he saw me he ran off. I thought he was cripple since he was kind of jumping with his front legs instead of walking.

The following days I saw him hiding from other packs behind trees and bushes. I could not approach him because this could trigger attacks. So I left food in different spots.

But then yesterday when I came back home from the vet he was laying in front of my house again. And then I got the biggest shock. they had tied his hind paws and the rope caused huge injuries. Now I understood why he could not walk properly. This act is beyond cruel. This dog may be invalid forever. That he is still alive is a miracle. After we cut off the rope he still could not walk properly. His hind legs are deformed because of the rope that had to make him move in the most unnatural way. We put him in my Abri after we took care of the wounds and I fed him. For at least a week he did not have a proper meal. He is skinny, full of ticks and very tired. Today I treated him for the ticks and Ahmed from the clinic came over to give him an antibiotic shot. Tomorrow when they have a room free in the clinic we will bring him over.

Despite all the pain, the abuse, the fears he let me do everything watching me calmly. He can still trust and this makes it even more shameful. My God, how much we fail them. I am heartbroken.💔
