Hallux Valgus (commonly known as a bunion) is a condition where the big toe deviates toward the other toes, causing a
painful bony bump on the side of the foot.
It is often caused by tight shoes, high heels, or genetic
factors.
A common conservative treatment is the use of a plastic
splint, which helps to:
• Gradually realign the big toe
• Reduce pain and pressure
• Prevent the condition from worsening
