The Egyptian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine takes upon itself the role of defending the rights of radiologists from the encroachment of other specialties on the specialty of radiology, as well as the role of training and qualifying radiologists and technicians by establishing many educational scientific activities throughout the year, such as scientific conferences and Egyptian radiology schools, where the Egyptian Society of Radiology and Medicine Al-Nawawi organized two scientific conferences and 8 training courses under the name of the Egyptian Radiology School throughout the year for the purpose of training radiologists and radiologic technicians and qualifying them, exchanging ideas and knowing the latest developments and modern methods, training doctors on them, exchanging experiences, discussing research and putting forward proposals
الجمعية المصرية للأشعة والطب النووي
تعتبر الجمعية المصرية للأشعة والطب النووي من اقدم الجمعيات الطبية المصرية ويتكون مجلس إدارة الجمعية من ١٥ عضو يتم اختيارهم بالانتخاب ويشترط في عضو مجلس الإدارة ان يكون حاصلاً علي درجة الدكتوراه او ان يكون حاصلاً علي لقب الاستاذية
وتعمل الجمعية علي خدمة المجتمع المصري في المجال الطبي والصحي وتحقيق المشروعات القومية المرتبطة بالمجال الطبي والصحي بالتعاون مع الجهات المعنية
وتأخذ الجمعية المصرية للأشعة والطب النووي علي عاتقها دور الدفاع عن حقوق أطباء الأشعة من تعدي التخصصات الأخرى علي تخصص الاشعة وأيضاً دور تدريب وتأهيل أطباء وفنيي الأشعة عن طريق إقامة العديد من الأنشطة العلمية التعليمية علي مدار العام كالمؤتمرات العلمية ومدارس الأشعة المصرية حيث تقوم الجمعية المصرية للأشعة والطب النووي بتنظيم مؤتمرين علميين و ٨ كورسات تدريبية تحت مسمي مدرسة الأشعة المصرية علي مدار العام بغرض تدريب أطباء وفنيي الأشعة وتأهيليهم وتبادل الأفكار ومعرفة اخر المستجدات والأساليب الحديثة وتدريب الأطباء عليها وتبادل الخبرات ومناقشة الأبحاث وطرح
