Despite the difficult period facing the unit in the last period, particularly the decision to suspend work in it, hope is still exist
The first "and not the last" publication of Surgical Emergency Unit (SEU), represents one of its difficult rarest cases.

Thanks for every member of team during last 6 years share honestly to elevate the meaning of team work.

Unfortunately, working is suspended in our unit at the same day five years ago and for us this is the right time to not attribute any achievement to those who do not deserve it.
Finally ideas never die

A 17 year old male admitted to emergency department as a case of acute abdomen with intestinal obstruction

At abdominal exploration; the distal part of small intestine was entrapped and strangulated between gangrenous meckel`s diverticulum and fibrous band connecting the tip of diverticulum and mesentery of small intestine near the ileocecal valve.
Meckel`s diverticulum was measuring about 10 cm in length and 4 cm in diameter.

Gangrenous meckel`s and small intestine were resected with conservative right hemi-colectomy and intestinal colic anastomosis was done end to end.
