💡T-CAF... a perfect combination for nowadays mucogingival surgery. To take advantage of both techniques in achieving maximum root coverage with minimal trauma and invasivness. This is a multiple RT1 case with NCCL (due to wrong brushing technique). As the case has radicular cavities at the exposed roots of the 3 teeth, it's recommended to use CTG as an essential step in the management of the case.

🌳This is an early follow-up of the case (one month) with predictable & expected results...the residual exposed cavity of 1st premoar will be restored with composite restoration within 6 months from now, by reaching stable and mature tissue condition.

⚜️Working at esthetic zone is always challenging! and it's a harmony between pink & white...gingiva & restoration 😍🥰

🌟Soft tissue deficiency at the implant site, the right one, deficiency both vertical (gingival margin level) & horizontal (soft tissue thickness, concave contour), which compromise both function (plaque & food particles accumulation) & esthetic too.

💡Soft tissue augmentation at the deficient site, through CAF + CTG, with changing the abutment with another one (more slim & with more angulation) to maintain the soft tissue gain. After 6 months of temporization, a final restoration was done, in concomitant with venners for the natural teeth...this amazing restorative work for both teeth & implants by another talented colleague 👏👌🥰

حاله ترقيع عظام الفك المتآكل

⚜️Today's surgery was Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR), for a lovely lady who suffred from stage 3 periodontitis due to traumatic occlusion & accumulated local factors (plaque & calculse) subgingivally.

🌟Occlusion adjustment in concomitant with full mouth debridement was carried out previously and today was the corrective surgery, for open flap for debridement & GTR also.

💡The used biomaterials at the surgery from:
Allograft, xenograft & hyaluronic acid from BioMatrix company & the pericardium membrane from medical .

حاله molar-incisor pattern periodontitis كما يقول الكتاب 👌
✔️Typical affected teeth
✔️Little amount of local factors (plaque & calculse)
✔️Familial dental history of early loss of sound permanent teeth
✔️Medically free.
✔️Arc shape bone loss at 1st molar.

💡Non-surgical treatment phase was done successfully, followed by initial periodontal parameters re-evalution and then surgical correction through GTR for lower 1st molar-right side.

🌳The following OPG showed the intial condition & bone level of both right & left side , then 6 months follow up after GTR of right side and only Non-surgical treatment of left side, then 1.5 year follow up, showing a stable periodontal regeneration result at Right side and stable with little improvement of Left side!...Amazing periodontal recovery happened by time, hope my patient maintain this stable periodontal level on long term inshAllah 🤲🌷😊

💡لسنين فاتت، كان مصير أسنان بالحاله دي الاستمرارية بالتدهور لحد ما نوصل لمرحله الخلع! وللأسف ده كان موجود بسبب عدم انتشار الوعي الكافي بين أطباء الأسنان (وأنا كنت واحده منهم للأسف) بوجود حل لوقف التدهور ده ومش بس كده، وكمان تحسين وضع اللثه وده في حد ذاته مهم لحمايه عظام الفك وإطاله عمر الأسنان بالتبعيه

✌️الحل موجود من سنين طويله (مش طريقه علاج جديده او مبتكرة ) ولكن عدم معرفتها وتطبيقها هو اللي خلاها مجرد معلومه بندرسها وصور بنتفرج عليها في الكتب !

🌳دي حاله من ضمن الحالات( بفضل الله سبحانه وتعالي تم علاج حالات في وضع أسوء من هذه الحاله)، وبفضل الله أيضا الحالات دي في وضع تحسن واستقرار ولسنين أطول من المتابعه عن هذه الحاله

👈الشاهد من الكلام، محتاجين نفكر مرتين قبل ما نقرر خلع أي سنه فيها مشاكل في اللثه ، محتاجين نتعلم ناخد قرار آمتي يكون الوضع ميؤوس منه فيستوجب الخلع او الحاله ممكن علاجها عن طريق الدكتور اللي لجئت له الحاله او تحويلها لأخصائي أمراض لثه.

🌳Multidisciplinary approaches are common in most cases in dentistry nowadays. This case was complaining from root exposure & hypersensitivity at lower 2 central incisors. The teeth spacing, flaring, and imbalanced occlusion were the main causes. To prevent further periodontal deterioration of the affected teeth and also other dentation, orthodontic treatment was planned. After one year and half of treatment, which was started by soft tissue augmentaion, after 3 months post-surgical, she started orthodontic treatment, and here is the final result.

🌳Power of Guided Tissue Regeneration procedure 《GTR》... a 4 years follow up with stable results of combined infrabony defect (one & two walls bony defect). The used materials for the procedure were allograft & pericardium membrane.
