Egyptian National CPR Council It will also be responsible for:
1.1. Preserving lives by improving standards of resuscitation in Egypt.
1.2.

The purposes of the council are to provide a group which will overview, promote, and supervise all aspects related to cardio pulmonary resuscitation nationwide. Coordinating the activities with other Egyptian organizations and authorities with a major interest in resuscitation medicine.
1.3. Providing a forum for discussion and coordination of all aspects of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
1.4. Fo

stering scientific research in areas of resuscitation where there is a lack of data or where there is controversy.
1.5. Provision of a mechanism for collecting, reviewing and sharing international scientific data on resuscitation.
1.6. Producing statements on specific issues related to resuscitation that reflect international consensus.
1.7. Establishing regular communications with other bodies with similar objectives all over the world.
1.8. Designing standardized teaching programs suitable for all trainees ranging from the lay public to the qualified physician.
1.9. Dissemination of information on training and education in resuscitation
1.10. Collaborating to develop a nationwide database of cardiac arrests that take place in hospital. The aim will be to enable analysis of all in-hospital cardiac arrests and to compare the frequency of, and outcome from, cardiac arrest between hospitals.
1.11. Organizing relevant congresses and other scientific meetings
