“With great power comes great responsibility.” But somewhere along the line, medical education turned that into an expectation of invincibility.

Burnout among medical students isn’t an individual failure, t’s a systemic reality. We wear the mask, hide the fatigue, and pretend we’re unaffected because the stigma tells us that asking for help is a sign of weakness.

It’s time to rewrite the story. You cannot pour from an empty cup, and you cannot heal others while breaking yourself in the process.
