I started IAH 6 years ago, when I came back from China after living and training intensively for half a year, it was Covid! I had planned to go back for a 3 year program, but the world changed.
Worse even, my school in Cairo had locked its doors only to students of the fulltime program, I had been a student there for 4 years, but I guess everything was on an evolutionary path.
My beloved teacher, Master Tang Li Long was the only support I could find, miles and miles away encouraging me to start classes urging that Chinese internal arts should be taught for the health of everyone in the community. He encouraged me to teach. So I did it!
Great people started to show up at my place in Maadi, ready to sweat and work. And I shared what I've known from two worlds, the world of my school in Cairo .martialartsschool through my teacher Taha Hassouna and the world of Wudang Xuan Wu Pai through master Tang Li Long, and I realized I was so lucky to tap into them not as duals but as one!
My understanding became better and my teaching helped! That's what mattered. Two of the people I had taught joined my school in Cairo for fulltime programs! :) One amazing young woman is in Wudang now and all of this serves better health on all three levels, not pride or show off. To each their own path of discovery still.
Last couple of years were not consistent for IAH because of relocation. September 2026 things are gonna get serious once again. My intention remains as clear as possible, to help empower people through self discovery and movement of the body, the energetic systems and the mental patterns. What is it to really experience flow including the tension, and living it to the fullest, until transformation becomes not a skill but a revealed natural process.
Hence Chinese Internal arts, therapeutic massage, Traditional Chinese resonance and acupuncture, Reflexology, and Jungian Coaching for alignment of all the realms.
Now we are setting up the garden to officially host visitors and keen learners from various levels, you come and you meet yourself, your body, your breath.
Oh and China was not a trip : ) ! It was going back home to REMEMBER.
