تدخلات دقيقة.. وتكامل طبي يصنع الفارق

نجح الفريق الطبي بمستشفى شرم الشيخ الدولي، التابعة للهيئة العامة للرعاية الصحية – فرع جنوب سيناء، في التعامل مع حالتين حرجتين؛ الأولى إصابة نافذة بالرقبة نتج عنها إصابة بالشريان السباتي والوريد الوداجي الداخلي، والثانية نزيف ثانوي حول فتحة القصبة الهوائية.

وتطلب التعامل مع الحالتين سرعة في التدخل ودقة في الإجراءات، إلى جانب متابعة مكثفة بعد التدخل، بمشاركة فريق جراحة الأوعية الدموية بقيادة د. شريف حسين، وفريق جراحة القلب والصدر بقياده د. وليد ابوسنه ، وفريق الطوارئ والعمليات، وفريق الرعاية المركزة بقيادة د. أحمد متولي، حتى استقرت حالة المريضين وتم إنقاذ حياتهما.






Precise Interventions.. Integrated Medical Care Makes the Difference.

The medical team at Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital, affiliated with the Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) – South Sinai Branch, successfully managed two critical cases. The first involved a penetrating neck injury resulting in injury to the carotid artery and internal jugular vein, while the second involved secondary bleeding around a tracheostomy site.

Managing both cases required rapid intervention and precise procedures, followed by intensive monitoring and care. The cases were managed through the combined efforts of the Vascular Surgery Team, led by Dr, sherif hussein and the Cardiothoracic Surgery Team,led by Dr, Waleed Abu Senna and the Emergency and Operating Room Teams, and the Intensive Care Unit Team, led by Dr. Ahmed Metwally, until both patients stabilized and their lives were saved.

نبضٌ لا يتوقف… ونجاحٌ يُكتب من جديد

في إطار جهود مستشفى شرم الشيخ الدولى التابعة للهيئة العامة للرعاية الصحية فرع جنوب سيناء لتقديم خدمات طبية متخصصة وفق أحدث الأساليب العلاجية، نجح فريق جراحة القلب والصدر في إجراء 3 عمليات لتوصيل الشرايين التاجية لعلاج حالات انسداد شرايين القلب.

وقد أُجريت العمليات باستخدام تقنية جراحة القلب النابض (Off-Pump CABG)، والتي يتم خلالها إجراء توصيلات الشرايين التاجية دون إيقاف القلب، وتُعد خيارًا مناسبًا لبعض الحالات وفقًا للتقييم الطبي لكل حالة.

أُجريت العمليات على يد د. أحمد محمود فخري – استشاري جراحة القلب المفتوح، وبمشاركة د. إسماعيل عبد الجواد – استشاري التخدير، وبالتعاون مع نخبة من طاقم التمريض، تحت إشراف **الأستاذ كريم طويلة – مشرف تمريض العمليات.

ويأتي هذا النجاح تأكيدًا على كفاءة الفرق الطبية وتكامل التخصصات، إلى جانب توافر الإمكانات والتقنيات الحديثة التي تدعم التعامل مع الحالات القلبية الدقيقة، مع الحرص على تقديم رعاية متكاملة للمريض قبل وأثناء وبعد الجراحة.





A Heartbeat That Never Stops… Another Success Written

As part of Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital’s one of the hospitals of Egypt Healthcare Authority - South Sinai Branch ongoing efforts to provide specialized medical services using the latest treatment approaches, the Cardiothoracic Surgery Team successfully performed three coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedures to treat cases of coronary artery blockage.

The procedures were performed using the Off-Pump CABG technique, in which coronary artery bypass grafts are performed while the heart continues beating without the use of a heart-lung machine. This technique may be an appropriate option for selected patients based on the medical team’s assessment of each case.

The surgeries were performed by Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Fakhry – Consultant of Open Heart Surgery, with the participation of Dr. Ismail Abdelgawad – Consultant Anesthesiologist**, alongside a distinguished nursing team under the supervision of Mr. Karim Tawila – Operating Room Nursing Supervisor.

This achievement reflects the expertise and multidisciplinary collaboration of the medical teams, as well as the availability of advanced medical capabilities and technologies that support the management of complex cardiac cases, while ensuring comprehensive patient care before, during, and after surgery.

في إنجاز جديد يُجسد جاهزية مستشفى شرم الشيخ التابعة للهيئة العامة للرعاية الصحية فرع جنوب سيناء الدولي في التعامل مع الإصابات والحوادث الحرجة، استقبل قسم الطوارئ شابًا تعرض لحادث أدى إلى كسر متفتت بمفصل الحوض مع خلع بمفصل الحوض، وهي من الإصابات الدقيقة التي تستدعي تدخلاً طبيًا عاجلًا للحفاظ على وظيفة المفصل وتقليل المضاعفات.

وفور وصول الحالة، تعامل فريق الطوارئ بكفاءة وسرعة، حيث تم إجراء الفحوصات الطبية والأشعات اللازمة، وتشخيص الحالة بدقة، ثم نقل المريض على وجه السرعة إلى غرفة العمليات.

ونجح الفريق الطبي بقسم جراحة العظام في إجراء جراحة دقيقة لتثبيت الكسر وإعادة مفصل الحوض إلى وضعه الطبيعي باستخدام الشرائح والمسامير، لتُكلل العملية بالنجاح واستقرار حالة المريض.

أُجريت الجراحة بقيادة د. أحمد رفعت استشاري جراحة العظام والمفاصل والعمود الفقري، وبمشاركة د. بسنت عبد الحميد استشاري التخدير، وبالتعاون مع فريق التمريض بقيادة مستر كريم فوزي طويلة مشرف العمليات، والممرض المناول محمود الفيشاوي.





In another remarkable achievement that reflects the readiness of Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital one of the hospitals of Egypt Healthcare Authority -South Sinai Branch to manage critical trauma and emergency cases, the Emergency Department received a young man who had been involved in an accident resulting in a comminuted fracture of the acetabulum (hip socket) associated with a hip dislocation—one of the complex injuries that requires immediate surgical intervention to preserve joint function and minimize complications.

Upon arrival, the Emergency Department team responded promptly and efficiently. The patient underwent the necessary clinical assessment and radiological investigations, allowing for an accurate diagnosis before being transferred immediately to the operating room.
The Orthopedic Surgery team successfully performed a delicate procedure to stabilize the fracture and reduce the hip dislocation using plates and screws. The operation was completed successfully, and the patient's condition was stabilized.

The surgery was led by Dr. Ahmed Refaat, Consultant of Orthopedic Surgery, Joint Surgery, and Spine Surgery, with the participation of Dr. Basant Abdel Hamid, Consultant Anesthesiologist, and the dedicated nursing team led by Mr. Karim Fawzy Tawila, Operating Room Supervisor, along with Scrub Nurse. Mahmoud El-Fishawy.
