IRON TWINS

IRON TWINS "Wellness Warriors" Together we hope to inspire others to live happier, healthier lifestyles through

We are identical twins, Paola and Pamela Del Hierro known as the “Iron Twins”. Peruvian born, raised in Canada our last name is Spanish and translates to “of Iron”. More than strong in name alone, we are fierce competitors who thrive on challenging ourselves and each other. Our tenacity and thirst for adventure led us to experience our first Spartan Obstacle Course Race (OCR) in 2013, where we wer

e instantly hooked. Our love for the sport grew so strong that we decided to make it a lifestyle. We are currently coaches at the first ever Spartan Gym in Miami Florida, and host our own Beach Training. Our mission is to share our passion for fitness and help motivate and inspire others to push themselves to defeat their greatest adversary: themselves. As one man sharpens another, we truly believe that together we are STRONGER.

5 weeks post ovarian cyst surgery and finally starting to feel like myself again. 💛

The swelling lasted a lot longer than I expected… and getting food poisoning 2 weeks after surgery definitely didn’t help. 😅

Right now I’m focused on listening to my body, giving myself grace, and easing back in slowly. Another week before I train upper body, and probably a couple more before lifting heavy again — but I’m not rushing it.

One thing I’ve learned through this process: recovery over 40 looks different. Patience matters. Rest matters. And there’s no prize for pushing too fast.

I know I’ll get back to where I was when my body is ready… and one thing’s for sure — I’m coming back STRONGER. 💪🔥

If you’ve ever had to rebuild your strength after surgery, injury, or a setback, comment “STRONG” below. Let’s remind each other that setbacks are temporary. ❤️

We don’t have a problem with aging, it’s a natural part of life.

We DO have a problem with feeling physically weak, fatigued, and limited in my own body.

Thankfully that’s something we can train against.🔥

Strength training is about showing up for your FUTURE self.
The strong, capable, unstoppable version of you.💪

As I sit here looking back on mothers day still recovering for the second time in my life from ovarian cyst surgery, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for my body and my beautiful babies.

I was only 18 years old when I lost my left o***y to a large teratoma… and now, years later, half of my right o***y to another.

For most of my life, I believed it would be “harder for me to get pregnant.” At least that’s what I told myself.

But life had other plans.

Becoming a mother was part of my destiny and without a doubt, it has been the greatest, most meaningful experience of my life.

Today, I want to thank my body.
A body that has been through surgeries, scars, fear, recovery… yet still created life not once, but twice.

And I want to thank my beautiful mother for bringing me and my twin sister into this world together. Thank you for your sacrifice, for your strength, love, and everything you have always done and continue to do for your children. I love and appreciate you more than you could possibly know.

Motherhood has given my life a deeper meaning and a love I can’t even put into words.

Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, stepmom, auntie, caregiver, and woman who nurtures others with love. Your strength is powerful, your sacrifices matter, and what you do is truly life-changing. ❤️

I hope you enjoyed your day💐
