Thankful for one more Somatic Art Practice Residency, part of a hybrid educational program that brings together the practice of Body-Mind Centering©️ & visual artmaking.

So grateful for the beauty of the group of participants, the space provided by , the preciousness of the encounter with the nature inside and outside of us, the cellular journeys finding voice, creative expression, our curiosity and playfulness as pathways to presence and growth, the embodied learning while accompanying each other to new depths of experience and ways of being...
So much to take with us after this magical week!

Content of the course: 

The period from intrauterine life through approximately 12 months of age is an extraordinarily formative time for humans. Our basic movement patterns emerge in utero, are present at birth, and develop through the first year of life. It is during this time that we build the groundwork for our movement and perceptual skills and pass through the milestones by which we mark our development.

The Body-Mind Centering® Association (BMCA) invites you to join Regathering, a free online event taking place May 29 (or May 30 for participants in Asia and Australasia).

This global gathering features experiential sessions led by Body-Mind Centering® professional members in both English and Spanish, along with access to pre-recorded interviews — including a conversation with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and Len Cohen.

Participants will also have the opportunity to join a live Q&A with Program Directors exploring the historical roots and future developments of the School for Body-Mind Centering®.

Regathering is hosted on the BMCA community platform, which is free and open to all.

Thank you all for another wonderful Somatic Movement Education course, the Skeletal System, offered by Body-Mind Centering in Greece with ISTOS!

This is one of the students' feedback after completing the Somatic Art Practice online course, Level 1. If you're drawn to art, movement, embodiment and research - whether artist or dancer or a creative person, join us!

This June there will be a residency in Greece that is open to all levels, followed by a new Level 1 online course in October.

If you're interested in certification, you can join the residency first and then continue with the course.
