Will lifting weights make me bulky?
The short answer? No.
Building significant muscle mass takes years of highly specific training, a calorie surplus, and a very deliberate approach. It doesn't happen by simply attending a weekly strength class.
What strength training does do is help you become stronger, improve muscle tone, increase bone density, boost confidence, and make everyday movements feel easier. It's one of the best investments you can make in your long-term health.
That's exactly why we've introduced our new Strength Class.
Designed for all abilities, it's the perfect way to build strength safely, improve technique, and challenge yourself in a supportive environment.
Even better? Pairing strength training with Pilates gives you the best of both worlds.
✨ Strength training builds power, muscle, and resilience.
✨ Pilates improves mobility, balance, core strength, muscle build and tone and body awareness.
Together, they complement each other perfectly—helping you move better, reduce your risk of injury, and feel stronger both in and out of the studio.
If you've been thinking about adding strength training to your routine, now is the perfect time to start.
Join our new Strength Class and experience how combining it with Pilates can help you build a stronger, healthier body.
