📚 New Special Issue in Dermatopathology: Guidelines for Optimizing Skin Biopsies: Best Practices for Clinicians and Dermatopathologists

I am very pleased to share the progress of this Special Issue of Dermatopathology, bringing together practical guidelines and expert perspectives on how to optimize skin biopsies—from the clinical setting to the dermatopathology laboratory and microscopic diagnosis.

So far, five papers have been published, contributed by outstanding, internationally recognized experts in their respective fields. Their titles and authors are shown in the image below.

The final Special Issue will be fully open access and will cover some of the most important areas in dermatopathology, providing practical information not only for dermatopathologists, but also for dermatologists, residents, trainees, and pathology laboratory professionals.

The aim is simple: to provide useful, practical guidance that can improve the quality of skin biopsies and ultimately patient diagnosis.

I would like to thank all the authors who have contributed their expertise and time to this project, and I look forward to sharing the complete Special Issue when all the papers are published.
