Before you unfollow- Iâm actually a big fan of gratitude practice â itâs my default setting these days đ
But in the midst of my midlife implosion, it did nothing except make me VERY ungrateful about being told to be grateful đ€Ź
Because when your nervous system is properly shot, even the âsimpleâ tools start to feel like too much.
So if youâre currently scrolling for hours, avoiding emails, or using food and wine to switch your brain offâŠthis isnât a discipline issue đđŒ
Itâs a capacity issue đ€Ż
And you donât need another thing to DO.
You might actually need a pause⊠and to stop âoptimizingâ.
What if you just let yourself BE for a change?
