With more then 10 years of experience in the Mental Healtcare Een quote die al een groot deel van mijn leven bij mij terug komt.

You don’t have to carry what isn’t yours anymore.

So many of us do.
Out of love.
Out of loyalty.
Out of habit.

And slowly, without noticing, we lose ourselves in the process.

This retreat in Marrakech is not about escaping your life.
It’s about meeting it fully, and choosing what truly belongs to you.

For six days, we work with:
– Yoga & meditation
– Family constellations
– Systemic healing
– Ritual & reflection
– Deep inner work in a grounded way

We bring a balance between feeling and understanding.
Spiritual depth, with both feet on the ground.

This space is for you if:
• You feel responsible for everyone
• You struggle to set boundaries
• You are tired of overthinking
• You long for lightness without bypassing your truth

In Marrakech, something shifts.
Clarity becomes embodied.
Softness becomes strength.
Letting go becomes possible.

Healing was never meant to be a journey of isolation. Somewhere along the way, we’ve started believing that healing is something we have to do on our own.

Read the books.
Do the inner work.
Go to therapy.
Figure it out yourself.

But that’s not how humans have healed for most of history. Long before therapy rooms existed, many indigenous communities already understood something we’re slowly rediscovering today: healing isn’t only an individual journey.

When someone was struggling, the community gathered around them. Not to fix them. But to remind them they didn’t have to carry it alone.

Modern psychology is showing us something remarkably similar. We are wired for connection. Safe relationships can help us feel secure enough to explore, process and grow.

The right people won’t do the work for you. But they’ll create the safety in which healing becomes possible.
Who remind you how to laugh. Who make you feel accepted exactly as you are.

Sometimes the most healing moments aren’t the ones where you’re talking about your pain.

Sometimes they’re the moments where, for just a little while...
you forget you were carrying it.

🤍 Who is someone that makes you feel completely yourself? Tag them below or send them this video to let them know how much they mean to you.

✨ My guided meditation album is available on Spotify ✨
A collection of short, grounding meditations created to support you in moments where you need peace, softness, clarity or simply a moment to reconnect with yourself.

The meditations are available in both English and Dutch, and intentionally kept short, so you can listen anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re starting your morning, taking a pause during a busy day or winding down before sleep.

And the best part? They’re completely free. 🤍
I hope these meditations can become a small safe space you can return to whenever you need it.

If you keep having the same argument... it’s probably not about the argument. 🤍

Most couples try to solve what’s happening on the surface.
But in my experience, the real struggle often lies underneath.

The stories we tell ourselves.
The emotions we don’t always recognise.
The patterns we’ve carried with us for years.
That’s exactly why I’ve been working on something I’m so excited to share with you...

✨ A free workbook called The Relationship Pattern Finder.
A gentle tool to help you understand your own relationship patterns before trying to change your partner.

I’m hoping to share it with you later this week. 🤍

Now I’m curious...
👉 What’s one pattern that keeps showing up in your relationship?

- Maybe it’s shutting down during conflict.
- Getting defensive.
- Overthinking.
- Feeling unheard.
- Or something completely different.

Why do I work systemically? Because none of us develops in isolation.

Long before we become a partner, a parent, a friend or an entrepreneur, we grow up within a family system. This is where our brain first learns what relationships are like. It learns what feels safe, what love looks like, how conflict is handled, whether emotions are welcome and what we need to do to belong.

As children, we don't consciously choose these beliefs or behaviours. We adapt to the environment we grow up in. Those adaptations help us navigate our childhood, but they can also become automatic patterns that continue into adulthood.

That doesn't mean your childhood determines your future.

It does mean that understanding where your patterns come from can help you respond with more awareness, instead of simply reacting on autopilot.

This is also why systemic work isn't about finding someone to blame.
It's about becoming curious about the dynamics between people, the roles we unconsciously took on and the patterns that may still influence the way we relate to ourselves and others today.

The same underlying pattern can show up in very different areas of life. It may influence your relationship with your partner, the way you parent, how you navigate friendships, communicate with colleagues or even how you lead your business.

That's why I don't only work with individuals. I also work with couples and entrepreneurs.

Although the context may be different, I'm often exploring the same question:
What patterns developed within your system... and how are they still shaping your life today?

🤍 When you look at the different relationships in your life, do you notice any patterns that seem to repeat themselves?

Family Constellation Retreat. One of the questions we hear most is:
"But... how does it actually work?"

And while we're always happy to explain the theory, we've learned something beautiful over the years. Family Constellations are often experienced before they are fully understood.

You don't need to analyse every step.
You don't need to believe in a certain philosophy.
You don't need any previous experience.

Our role is to create a safe, grounded, and trauma-aware environment where you can simply be present and allow the process to unfold at your own pace.

Sometimes the mind catches up later. The body often knows first.

Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped playing.

Not because we wanted to. But because life happened.
We grew up. We took on responsibilities. We learned to be productive, independent and strong.

And without even noticing, we often left behind the part of us that laughed without hesitation, explored without fear and found joy in the smallest moments.

When people hear the words inner child, they often think of trauma, pain and healing old wounds. And yes... that’s an important part of the journey.

But healing isn’t only about processing what hurt you. It’s also about reconnecting with what made you feel alive.

Your curiosity.
Your spontaneity.
Your creativity.
Your sense of wonder.

Sometimes healing looks like tears. And sometimes... it looks like three grown women laughing as they race down a slide.

Because your inner child doesn’t only deserve compassion for what it went through.

🤍 It deserves opportunities to experience joy again.

What made you feel truly alive as a child... and when was the last time you experienced that feeling again? ✨

Most relationships don’t end because of one big argument.
They slowly grow apart when curiosity disappears. When we stop asking: “What happened for you?”

And start thinking: “How do I prove that I’m right?”

The truth is, you don’t have to agree with your partner to be curious about their experience. Because understanding and agreeing is something different. Curiosity creates understanding. Understanding creates connection.
And connection is often what we’re really looking for beneath the disagreement.

🤍 The next time you’re in a difficult conversation, try asking one question before defending yourself: “Can you help me understand what this was like for you?”

You might be surprised by what happens next.

When I started working with couples, I noticed something interesting. Many people come into therapy hoping to understand their partner better. But lasting change often begins somewhere else.

It begins with understanding ourselves.
Not to blame ourselves.
Not to become the "perfect" partner.

But to become aware of the patterns, expectations and reactions we bring into a relationship. That's why I created this series: Relationship Reflection.
Not as a test.
Not to tell you what you're doing wrong.
But to invite you to pause, reflect and become curious.

Today's questions are a little different.
Don't answer them on your own.
Ask your partner.

You might be surprised by what you discover, not because either of you is right or wrong, but because every honest answer creates an opportunity to understand each other a little better.

Save this post for your next date night, and send it to your partner for when you both have a quiet moment together.
