I'm from the UK and have lived in Madrid since 2018 :). I'm a Thai Massage Therapist (since 2022), yoga teacher (since 2011) and English Teacher (on/off since 2002!). I have also done lots of other things on the way :). I've always loved Thai Massage. After University I went to Thailand to teach English and experienced my first Thai massages, including doing a short course which I loved! After goi
ng back to the UK, studying law, travelling to South America and working at a law firm (!) I started to get really into yoga: both the mental and physical benefits. I left law in 2010 to become a school teacher, and did my yoga teacher training in 2011. I then worked as a school teacher and yoga teacher, then yoga took over! I've had my own home yoga studio, taught yoga in gyms, studios, a hot yoga studio, festivals, schools, even nursery age kids! I've organised and taught on many yoga retreats. I now teach yoga in Madrid and online. My classes are currently in English, although I speak Spanish too. I am passionate about natural health. Through yoga, I became really interested in nutrition and qualified as a Nutritionist and Naturopath in 2015. I worked in the field for 6 years, seeing clients in my private clinic, writing for publications, giving workshops and cooking on retreats, including working at a Health Retreat Centre in Malta. When I moved to Madrid I continued to practice mainly online, although I started to teach more English :). Training as a Thai Massage Therapist seemed like a natural step after 11 years of teaching yoga, giving adjustments and also feeling the benefits of many great massages from my massage therapist friends over the years :). I love the natural relief, relaxation and rest that Thai massage offers. As a therapist, I love listening to and connecting with each person that comes in so I can tailor each massage. I hope you can come in soon!
