Patient with knive injury at the dorsal aspect of forearm. Drop of third fourth and fifth finger with no extensor tendon function of this fingers. Normal wrist extension. Always think more than muscle injury. In this case a partial PIN injury associated with muscle tear was found. Micro surgical repair was needed. Incredible adaptability of PIP joint after an open dislocation injury!! It seems to be a cup and cone treatment but in this case biology adapted the joint to allow movement!!!
Great result in a really difficult joint!!!

Paciente de 70 años con secuelas de fractura supraintercondilea de húmero distal. Prótesis de codo Conrad Morrey. Paciente sin dolor y movilidad completa y haciendo vida totalmente normal. Resultados a los 15 días con técnica asa de Zancolli y walant en paciente con tercer dedo de cisne con bloqueo doloroso en hipertensión de Ia articulación IFP . Dolor e impotencia funcional. Se realiza mediante tecnica anestesica Walant, tecnica del asa de Zancolli utilizando bandeleta lateral extensora. Se comprueba movilidad final y resolución de manera dinámica de la deformidad. Ayuda a los pacientes, y a los cirujanos para optimizar nuestros resultados.

Paciente de 52 años se sometió a una cirugía ecoguiada para el síndrome del túnel carpiano en la mano izquierda hace dos meses y medio.

La cirugía ecoguiada permite una intervención mínimamente invasiva para el síndrome del túnel carpiano con excelentes resultados.

Con la técnica ecoguiada, sin suturas, resolvimos su problemas en una sola intervención quirúrgica, reduciendo su estrés quirúrgico y acortando tanto el tiempo de la intervención como el dolor.

A 52-year-old patient underwent ultrasound-guided surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome in her left hand two and a half months ago.

Ultrasound-guided surgery allows for minimally invasive and simultaneous intervention for carpal tunnel syndrome with excellent results, and also enables other surgeries to be performed in the same clinical session.

Thus, with the ultrasound-guided technique, without sutures, we resolved all her problems in a single surgical session, reducing her surgical stress and shortening both the procedure time and her pain.

In this patient, ultrasound-guided surgery allowed her to avoid taking time off work and travel just four days after surgery.

- The ultrasound-guided technique for carpal tunnel syndrome is reliable and shortens surgical and recovery times for patients.
