PADEL STATION. Temporary Sports Facility. Chêne-Bourg, CH. 2025
Padel Station is the temporary transformation of a former industrial warehouse into a hub for sport and social activity. Developed as an interim use before the site’s future redevelopment, the project reactivates an otherwise dormant structure through minimal and reversible interventions. The existing hall accommodates a series of padel courts while retaining its industrial character and spatial qualities. A new collective program is introduced within the existing envelope, bringing activity and social use to the site during its transitional phase. The intervention preserves the identity of the building while creating a vibrant setting for sport and community.
