Among the many highlights of the congress, congratulations go to all the authors of the poster “A Phase III pivotal trial of staged‑bilateral MR‑guided focused ultrasound pallidothalamic tractotomy for motor complications in Parkinson’s disease.”
The work was selected as one of the top 2 movement‑disorder abstracts at by the MDS.

Juan José is 56 and works as a carpenter in interior design. He has lived with essential tremor since childhood, but from the age of 40, it became more challenging.
Still, he has continued to do what he loves most – working with his hands.

Our next tremor hero is Micael from Sweden, who has lived with essential tremor for most of his adult life. He enjoys restoring old cars, spending time with his dogs, and sharing everyday moments with his wife in their countryside home.
His energy and positivity shine through in everything he does.
