A facelift is not meant to change who you are.
One of the concerns we hear most often in consultation is the fear of looking "done". It is a misconception worth addressing directly.
The objective of a modern deep plane facelift is restoration. The technique works by repositioning the deeper structures of the face rather than altering the features that make a face recognisable, which is precisely why the result should read as continuity rather than transformation.
There is no single technique that suits every face. A deep plane approach may be indicated for one patient, while another is better served by an entirely different strategy. That decision comes from anatomy: the position of the deeper tissues, skin quality, underlying bone structure and the way each individual face has aged.
This is why the assessment matters more than the procedure itself.
Dr Kai Kaye evaluates each anatomy individually before any technique is considered.
To understand which approach may be appropriate in your case, you are welcome to arrange a private assessment with our medical team.
