Medications like Ozempic or Mounjaro have become quite famous for their ability to help loose weight. They are incredible molecules with immunmodulatory and neuromodulatory effects achieving so much more than a better figure. Independent of weight loss they have shown to reduce inflammation and recently, reduce cancer recurrence and metastasis in specific cancers. It is a huge result which has prompted more research and more clinical trials to understand better how we can use these drugs for more than weight loss, although the health benefits in obese patients are already beyond expectation and hope. Unpacking this was a shock. Honestly guys, it‘s 2026 and especially science based business areas like medicine should implement eco-friendly habits a 100%. Three boxes and a large amount of paper to transport a box the size of 15 cm2! Such unnecessary packaging waste and also larger transport CO2 footprint for the huge box. For us, an absolute deal breaker! Searching for a different distributor already!

We would like to introduce someone important. Shirley is our receptionist, our latest addition to our small team. If you have ever called - then you spoke to her already. She was born and raised in Marbella, speaks five languages and keeps the practice running with calm organisation and outspoken friendliness. In medicine, the first point of contact matters more than people realize. It’s where anxiety either settles or doesn’t. Where first questions get answered or get lost. Wonderful event, 20 years Vithas Xanit Hospital, 20 years of collaboration especially with the cardiac surgery department of Dr. Pedro Aranda. Nice to meet colleagues and partners who have worked with us for so many years. A special thanks to Dr. David Deardon of the Gib Med Clinic in Gibraltar, 18 years of successful collaboration!
