Kymberly’s unique medical journey and personal experiences led her to seeking out more “Root Cause” approaches to wellness. After years of struggling with digestive issues, Endometriosis, and a number of surgeries due to hormone imbalances with no preventative solutions or strategies from conventional medical approaches, she found true body healing through functional medicine and lifestyle changes. Kym happily shares her story and medical traumas in hopes that it will help others and she can be a resource for those seeking wellness. As an enrolled member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community (Lake Superior Band of Chippewa) of Upper Michigan, Kymberly approaches healing from a whole body and mind perspective.

“In native culture we address the spiritual, emotional, physical, and intellectual aspects of wellness. This is where alternative, integrative and functional medicine approaches align more with my views on health and healing. I am invested in helping family, friends and community members feel their best so they can achieve their highest potential and live out their lives full of vibrancy and happiness! I consistently practice what I preach with wholesome lifestyle habits so I can feel energized and ready to give clients the best care and time they deserve. It brings me honor and joy to continually share my knowledge to guide and partner with others on their healing journey. A well-rounded approach to wellness focuses on hormone balance, gut restoration and microbiome health, body alignment, nervous system regulation, and energy flow. Yes, this includes physical labs and data, replacing deficiencies in the body, eliminating toxicities, etc. but I also invite clients to go beyond the labs and get in sync with truly listening to their body. When you tie all these components together, you will start to experience the beauty of health and wellness.”

In her free time Kym enjoys cooking, training and competing in triathlons, and reading. The rigorous demands of preparing for triathlon races as an athlete allow her to understand the importance of balance and well-being throughout whole body systems. She emphasizes and advocates for whole food nutrition, healthy hormone balance, quality supplementation when needed, restorative sleep, energy system flow, meditation and other forms of mindfulness and self-care. Kym looks forward to working with clients to optimize their health through specialization in hormone testing and balance and various other functional medicine, coaching, lifestyle and nutrition approaches.

We’ve normalized WAY too much when it comes to women’s health.

🩸Painful periods.
🛌 Missing work every month.
😭 Curling up with a heating pad.
🗓️ Planning your entire life around your cycle.

And somewhere along the way, women were taught that this was just part of being a woman.

But common does NOT mean normal.

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition that can affect far more than your period.

And for many women, the warning signs have been there for YEARS before they ever receive a diagnosis.

If you recognize yourself in these symptoms, please don’t keep dismissing what your body is telling you.

You deserve answers, you deserve to be taken seriously, and m you deserve care that looks beyond simply masking your symptoms.

Save this for the next time someone tells you it’s “just a bad period.” 🤍

One of the most harmful phrases in medicine: “normal labs.”

Nobody’s lying to you. A normal result on an incomplete test just can’t show you what’s actually going on.

I spent 10+ years hearing some version of “you’re fine.” That was through painful periods, IBS, bloating, hair loss, acne, and exhaustion, until I finally got an endometriosis diagnosis. Multiple surgeries later, I know which questions and tests actually find the root cause.

That’s what this page is. Real talk on hormones, gut, thyroid, and fertility from a pharmacist trained in conventional and functional medicine. What makes it much more authentic: I’ve also been the patient.

If you’re doing everything right and still feel awful, follow along.

What do Endometriosis, Hashimoto’s, PMOS, Trying to Conceive, Perimenopause and Menopause have in common?

More than your doctor ever told you.

Six different labels. Six different specialists. Six different “solutions.” Birth control. Another surgery. “Your labs are normal.” “It’s just stress.” “This is what getting older feels like.”

But when I run real, in-depth testing on these women, I see the same patterns again and again:

🌿 Hormones and cortisol that need support, not suppression
🌿 Gut overgrowths, poor digestion and a leaky gut barrier, even in women who “poop fine”
🌿 Mold toxins, pesticides and heavy metals the body can’t clear fast enough
🌿 Minerals out of balance, the spark plugs your hormones run on
🌿 Low omega-3s and inflammation markers a basic CBC and BMP never checks
🌿 Thyroid antibodies sky-high while TSH looks “normal”

The labels change from condition to condition. The foundations don’t.

And here’s what most people miss: it’s not just what you do, it’s the ORDER you do it in.

You can take every supplement on Instagram, but if your gut isn’t absorbing them and your body is buried under toxins and inflammation, you’re throwing money down the drain.

That’s why every woman I work with gets her own data, her own roadmap, and the right steps in the right order.

Every lab in this post is real (identifying details removed). These are the women I get to walk alongside every day. These are the women who demanded more.

If you see yourself in one of these slides, just know you’re not a lost cause. You just haven’t been fully looked at yet.

If you want to go from dismissed to deeply restored, schedule a free call with me. Link in bio.

If I could sit down with my younger self, knowing everything I know now as a functional medicine pharmacist and a woman who has navigated stage 4 endometriosis, these are the conversations I’d want to have. 🤍

I want the next generation of women to grow up asking questions, understanding their bodies, and knowing they deserve to be heard.

Save this for later and send it to a woman you love.

“Normal” is not the same thing as feeling well.

And if you’ve ever been told your labs look fine while sitting there thinking, but I KNOW something is off, I want you to know that deserves a deeper conversation.

A lab result is one piece of the puzzle. It shouldn’t be used to dismiss everything your body is telling you.

This is why I chose functional medicine.

I want to ask the next question. Connect the dots. Look at the whole picture. Keep digging for the why behind your symptoms.

Because you deserve more than “everything looks normal.” You deserve answers. 🤍

If you’re ready to dig deeper, book a free discovery call with me through the link in my bio.
