I received some written feedback recently, which is on the attached photo. It is great to receive such positive feedback from clients, as I absolutely love my job, providing home-care and support.

I have been visiting this client for sometime now and it's a complete pleasure looking after her and supporting her family. How great to know they feel the same way!

How can I best support you?

I offer support with any of the following activities, to help you live your life to the fullest.

• getting out of bed in the morning
• washing and dressing and brushing your hair
• using the toilet
• preparing meals and drinks
• remembering to take your medicines
• doing your shopping
• collecting prescriptions
• getting out, for example to meet friends

Having a paid carer come to visit you in your home can make a huge difference to your life, especially if you have difficulty walking or getting around. It can help you stay living independently in your own home.

Having a paid carer can be temporary, for example for a few weeks while you recover from an illness. Or it can be long term. I can be flexible with supporting you, or a loved one in your own home, from the odd hour, to more permanent support over a longer period.

You might want to consider care at home if:

• you're finding it difficult to cope with daily routines, such as washing, dressing and getting out and about
• you do not want to move into a care home
• you are looking for social companionship
• you need some help with tasks around the home
