I am a big advocate of TRE (Tension & Trauma Recovery Exercises), developed by Dr. David Bercelli. It helps me deal with stress and traumas in so many ways and for the last 18months I have been proudly offering sessions online and in-person through my website PlanetSpoon.org. Here is an interview I did with one of my clients. At the time of recording we had been "co-regulating" for about 8months. We still continue on a regular basis and I am so pleased for and proud of her.

Barcelona was a ruse! Mum hasn't seen me for more than 6 years... and with a little sly coordinating and some additional help along the way had no idea I was coming! A really special moment ❤❤

Today I heard some sad and unexpected news. One of my Khmer neighbours, a lady in her thirties, mother of two of the sweetest-faced children I have met, had passed away after a 6-month battle with cancer.

I couldn't say I knew this lady, only that we would share a few words in my broken Khmer and her broken English, as I handed her my weekly laundry, and yet there was always a sparkle in her eyes and a genuine warmth in her voice, as she would conspiratorially charge me the locals rate for my washing.

And she was the first person to let me take said washing when I had no money or change on me, with an easy wave an easy "pay me later".

Such simple, small actions and yet they landed with me. They made my day just that little bit easier, and gave me the chance to act as worthy as the trust already shown.

I had wondered why I had not seen her shop open for a while. And now I know. I went to the evening chanting/blessings as is customary here and paid my condolences to her husband. Another beautiful man, he looked heartbroken. It was so sad.

I pray for him and his two young children at this time, and wish her a safe passage onto the next life.
