Unfinished business? Time for Psychotherapy

It might be having failed to say how much you loved them or maybe having lacked the will or the bravery of developing your vocational drives in life. The catalogue of potential unfinished business is as endless as the depth of the human mind and nature, but all of them can be boosted and finished with the appropriate psychotherapeutic relationship.

This is precisely what you can get at the only La Alcaidesa Psychology clinic by booking your first session for your interview and assessment leading to your psychotherapy in English or Spanish via WhatsApp on +44 7387 853068 or +34 670437304 with a senior Spanish, multilingual Psychologist within the cosy and confidential atmosphere you need and deserve.

Emotional blackmail in couples - psychological impact and treatment

In spite of its difficult definition, we all know what emotional blackmail is and we all have experienced some events of it, either actively or passively. However, we sometimes see its impact on our couple or family relationships without knowing how to avoid it. That’s why an expert psychologist can help us fix our relationship by offering us a dedicated med-free therapy. We are talking about psychotherapy. In a Psychology clinic with a protected and confidential setting, both client and psychologist will examine the issue in detail, assessing the way emotional blackmail is happening and searching for a healthier way of relating to each other by using a more assertive communication style which renounces any coercive words to improve the quality of the interactions.

No judgement is made by the psychologist in the course of the therapeutic process, but ‘simply’ a facilitation of the failing communication style or strategies that need to be improved by replacing them with a better one which is typically taught by the facilitating psychotherapist.

This process does typically require a few sessions in which this is observed, understood, shared and changed until the outcomes are positive and the client feels their issue has definitely been sorted out and the therapy comes to an end.

Dr Femenías is a senior Psychologist with a proven record of successful psychotherapy practice. I recommend his clinic in La Alcaidesa or his online sessions for excellent results.

Book an appointment with Dr Femenías via WhatsApp on +34 670437304 and also on +44 7387 853068.

Can Couple Therapy help with just one of the partners going to the sessions?

Needless to say, every little helps. On one side, this means that both partners’ coming together to the Couple Therapy sessions will usually have a deeper impact on the goal of sorting out any relationship issue within the couple. On the other side, each partner is still half the couple and as such is in a privileged position to individually work on their issues in the Couple Therapy sessions and learn how to better deal with their common issues.

Thus, if you are experiencing couple issues and your partner is reluctant to come to you to the Couple Therapy clinic, please don’t panic. You have a good chance to find better ways to improve your couple relationship with the expert help of a Couple Therapist.

Why not try with a first session next week and then possibly engage in a Couple Therapy process to help you have a happier life with your partner?

We are here to help. Let us know what can we do for you.
