In this video I explain what my Body & Mind Ta**ra Retreats are about.

They are private retreats in Spain for women and couples who feel they are ready to slow down, reconnect with their body, release what is still held in the system, and open to more connection and pleasure.

The retreats take place on our land in the mountains, surrounded by nature, silence and space.

This is a simple exercise for being really present.

You can do it with your partner, but also with yourself, to learn to be more present in your own body and to connect more deeply with yourself.

Place your hand on different parts of the body. Stay with each place for a few seconds. Be fully present. No rushing, no goal, no thinking about the next step.
Just bring your attention to that part of the body.

You can even name it softly, for example:
“This is your left arm.”
“This is your shoulder.”
“This is your hand.”

This helps the person who touches to become fully present with what they are doing. And it helps the person who receives to become more aware of their own body and of what they are receiving.

When you do this with yourself, it can help you come back into your body, feel yourself again, and deepen the connection with yourself.

Because when you are really present, you connect much deeper.
With yourself.
With your body.
And with the person you are with.

This can make pleasure more intense, energy flow stronger, and bring a deeper feeling of connection, love and being loved.

I used to think taking responsibility meant carrying everything.
Especially as a mom, this pattern can feel so normal.

You carry the family, the house, the children, the relationship, the emotions, the planning, the needs… and sometimes even the happiness of the people you love.

And then you may feel frustrated when others don’t take their part.

But the truth is: sometimes they don’t have to, because you are already taking it.

What I learn again and again in my own life, and what I also work with in Ta**ra Therapy, is that taking responsibility does not mean carrying everything.

It also means knowing what is not yours to carry.

Your part is yours.
Their part is theirs.

Even when you love them.
Even when it is hard for them to take their part.
Even when it is hard for you to trust that they can.

When you leave responsibility where it belongs, there is more space to breathe, to trust, and to connect.

The connection between mind and body keeps amazing me.

Most of us recognize how the mind can influence the body.
When you are stressed, worried or overwhelmed, your body often responds.
Your shoulders become tense.
Your belly tightens.
Your breathing becomes shallow.
You feel pressure, heaviness or restlessness.

But what fascinates me just as much is that it also works the other way around.
The body can influence the mind.
A deep breath can create more space.
A movement can help something shift.
A hand on the place where you feel something can bring you closer to what is really going on inside.

And the body has a memory too.
Sometimes it holds experiences, emotions or tension that your mind has already tried to understand or move on from.

This is why I love working with both the mind and the body.
Because real change often happens when they are no longer separated, but start working together.

Many people try to stay strong, while their whole system is asking for release.

They keep going.
They hold it together.
They push through.

But sometimes real strength is not in holding more.

Sometimes real strength is allowing yourself to feel what is there and giving it space to move.

For me, this can be very simple.

Sometimes I sit down and breathe out loud, so my body has a way to let out what needs to come out.

Sometimes I place a hand on the place where I feel something and let it speak to me.

Not because I need to fix it.

But because the body often knows what wants to be felt, expressed and released.

And when that happens, there can be so much relief.

The energy starts moving again.

And you can feel so, so much better.

I made this reel about Ocean Breathing, a simple breathing practice that can help you connect more deeply with yourself or with your partner.

For us, this was a real eye opener when starting intimate sessions together. It helped us slow down, become more present, and feel more connected. And from that place, more depth and arousal could arise naturally.

What I appreciate about this practice is that it is so simple, yet it can bring a big shift. It helps you come out of the mind and into the body, into feeling, into awareness.

Sometimes deep connection starts with something as basic as breathing together.
