Exactly 1 year ago, I changed the direction of my life to build a new chapter, a new life, and a new version of myself. One year later, I am proud of everything I have achieved to make that vision a reality.
I have always believed that you are your own greatest motivator. You set your own limits, and you are also the one who can break them. I strongly believe in hard work, commitment, humanity, & determination. Since I was a child, my mother always told me, “You have a unique energy & special vibes.” That energy became a force that inspired others and shaped me into an unstoppable achiever.
First, I want to thank the person who gave me life: my mother (beside father). She pushed me with everything she had, guiding a stubborn and passionate boy to become the man I am today.
Second, to the person who believed in me when I was nobody, my wife. She believed in my dreams & stood beside me through every challenge and every high and low. Her belief in me became the air beneath my wings.
17 years after becoming a surgeon, I am proud of what I have achieved both personally & professionally. As I enter my 18 year since making my first incision on a patient, I feel grateful not only for my career, but also for the beautiful family & people around me.
To my previous team, thank you for standing beside me through every moment & every challenge. You pushed me to become stronger & better.
And to my new team, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This year has been a journey of building trust, connection, & a new family. I believe in those who believe in me, and you made me feel that you were meant to walk this path beside me.
God places in your life the people who elevate your energy & guide you toward growth, while removing those whose ego stands above unity & family. Today, I am grateful for every person who has become part of this journey. Never forget ‘’if I grow, you grow” and “when I promise I deliver”.
Thanks to all my patients, you shaped me into the surgeon I am today. More than I gave you trust, you gave me purpose. You allowed me not only to be your doctor, but also someone who stands beside you through every step, and every moment of your journey.
