Introducing LifelineKidz – Ethiopia's First Home-Based Child Development Program
For the past 6 years, Lifeline Addis has had the privilege of serving patients and families across Ethiopia.
Throughout this journey, many parents of children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and developmental delays have approached us seeking support in caring for their children. While we deeply wanted to help, we recognized that at the time we were not adequately equipped with the specialized skills, systems, and experience required to provide the level of care these children deserved.
Today, that has changed.
We are proud to introduce LifelineKidz, Ethiopia's first home-based child development program.
Over the years, we have gained extensive experience in delivering healthcare services directly to people's homes. Now, we have combined that experience with evidence-based child development, teaching, and caregiving approaches to support children with neurodevelopmental conditions in the environment where they learn best ; their home.
This milestone comes as we celebrate providing medical screening services to over 200 children with autism in partnership with Joy Autism Center/Nia Foundation. It was a humbling and inspiring experience that reinforced our commitment to supporting children with neurodevelopmental needs and their families.
LifelineKidz is designed to provide comprehensive, individualized support for children with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
ADHD
Down Syndrome
Developmental Delays
Other neurodevelopmental conditions
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and every family deserves access to quality support.
If you are a parent or caregiver of one of these precious children, we would be honored to support your journey.
