Jyväskylä Centre for Interdisciplinary Brain Research CIBR provides research facilities and support for neuroscientific research across different disciplines.

Jyväskylä Centre for Interdisciplinary Brain Research was established in 2012 to improve the conditions for research of and cooperation between different departments working in the field of brain research. The research centre will cooperate closely with the Central Finland Central Hospital and research institutes relevant to the University’s research, such as the Research Institute for Olympic Spo

rts (KIHU), the Foundation for Sport and Health Sciences (LIKES), and the Niilo Mäki Institute (NMI). Educational and research cooperation will also be developed with domestic and international universities.
