Those who criticise increase rate of Caesarean operation for delivery..... They should know the below maintioned facts...

About 15 to 20 percent of deliveries should be called, vaginal delivery, as any complications to mother or baby must have took place during un monitored deliveries,these cases needed caesarian delivery to avoid even minor damage to the baby. Those families have such types of suffering they only knows how pathetic to avoid or bound to go for vaginal delivery
Normal delivery by definition delivery without any complications to mother or baby,
vaginal delivery should be tried in a set up where good monitoring during the whole period of labour pains.... keeping everything ready for emergency c/s operation immediately, that' means, gynecologist, anesthetist, child specialist should be available all the time.
Is it possible to have all these in this country
I have seen cases of vaginal deliveries whose babies sufferings from cerebral palsy, & other complications due to not intervening timely.
Birth asphyxia is very common in vaginal deliveries,leads to cerebral palsy, Autism,mental retardation like many complications, even some cases of good monitoring delivery could not prevent birth asphyxiation.
