Hey fambams our Peer Educator Venusi Tamaidraumala was at his first event today, which was conducted at Sukuna Park and was organized by Dr Emali PMO. This event was coordinated by the Ministry of Youth.

Bula Vinaka our Counselor Paul joined the Raiwaqa Health Center Outreach team for Screening at the Raiwaqa Catholic Church Bazaar. Paul conducted Pre-Test Counseling, data entry, POCT and disclosing their POCT results. PrEP was mentioned during the Pre Test Counselling to offer HIV patients with options to protect themselves.

Hey fambams we have concluded our Outreach yestetday at Mindpearl located at Kalabu Tax Free Zone. We were able to conduct onsite confirmatory tests and place patients on our new form of prevention: PrEP. Our staff that went on the Evening Outreach: 23rd and 24th were: Dr Esiteri R, Dr Melissa S, Surveillance Officer Una R and Laboratory Scientist Navneet P. A big vinaka vakalevu to the HR & Facilities Team at Mindpearl Call Center. Also to my Outreach Team at the SRH Clinic faiaksea garue.

Self-Care Wellness at the Hub 💙

Today, our Hub Counsellors came together for self-care session using our new Self-Care Tool. Taking time to reflect, and support one another is an important part of maintaining our own wellbeing so we can continue providing compassionate and quality care.

At the heart of our work is a deep commitment to the wellbeing of everyone around us . We strive to provide a safe and welcoming space where everybody is treated with compassion, dignity, and the utmost confidentiality, while encouraging self-care as an important part of everyone’s health and wellness journey.

Day 2 of our Outreach Program at Mindpearl located in Kalabu Tax Free Zone. The staff present were Surveillance Officer Eseta, Peer Educator Suva Subdivision Susana, Peer Educator Suva Hub Venusi and Counselor Paul. We carried our Pre Test Counselling and Screening for HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B. PrEP was mentioned to patients during our Pre Test Counselling sessions which help educate and inform Mindpearl employees of new prevention methods available in Fiji.
