🌟 Meet Eye Nurse Taraivosa Ela 🌟

A 2024 PGDEC (Eye Nurse) graduate and the only eye nurse serving Ra Province, Nurse Ela is making a remarkable difference in her community every day.

Working largely on her own and managing a significant backlog of patients, Ela remains dedicated to providing quality eye care to those who need it most. Fluent in three languages, it was heartwarming to see her connect with patients in Hindi, helping them feel comfortable and understood.

The PEI team is delighted to spend time supporting Ela and her patients. We are incredibly proud of her commitment, resilience, and the impact she is making across Ra Province.
