70 arbres et arbustes sont arrivés à la ferme cette semaine. 🌳

Pour le verger. Pour les haies. Pour le jardin des pollinisateurs.

On les a comptés avec Juliette. Elle a touché chaque racine avec ses petites mains comme si elle les accueillait une par une. À deux ans, elle sait déjà quelque chose qu'on a mis des décennies à comprendre.

La semaine prochaine c'est pelles, sueur, et 30 degrés en mai (oui, en mai). Rose et moi on va creuser, planter, parler aux racines, et probablement se disputer gentiment sur l'espacement des pommiers.

Tout ça est possible grâce aux dons de notre communauté en ligne, des gens du monde entier qui croient en ce que cette terre peut redevenir. On rewild 6 hectares ici en Bourgogne, pas pour nous, pour ce qui vient après nous.

Si vous passez par le village, vous verrez peut-être un homme couvert de terre en train de murmurer à un jeune poirier. C'est normal. C'est juste moi.

La ferme pousse. 🦌💚

Un très bel article dans le journal à propos de la Ferme du Cerf Bleu!

Guillaume Gauthereau et sa compagne Rose ont déjà planté plus de 500 arbres, arbustes et plantes indigènes au lieu-dit la Côte Monsieur dans la commune d'Étivey.

Those magnificent Lizard Orchid (not blooming yet) are growing all over our land.

They were thought to be extinct in the early 1900s, but are now coming back.

We have 100s of them on the land, and yes, their head look like a lizard head, and they smell like Goats…

We are aiming to keep most of the wild Prairie where it grows, and we feel very blessed by their presence.

Someone arrived tonight and said, "Wow, this is so magical..."

I agree. I think La Ferme du Cerf Bleu is not like everything else. Yes, there are 5* beddings, a whirlpool bath under the stars, 300-year-old oak beams, and stone walls, but there is something else every traveler feels.
