The management of type B aortic dissection has been transformed by advances in imaging.

💪 This course in Lisbon, Portugal, will equip you with the skills you need across the entire patient pathway: from initial diagnosis through intervention to long-term surveillance.

You'll practise optimising imaging techniques, including dynamic CTA and MRA, fusion imaging, IVUS, CO₂ angiography, cone-beam CT and contrast-enhanced duplex ultrasound.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have had experience in analysing imaging datasets, planning treatment strategies, team-based decision-making, and performing simulated procedures in an OR setting.

Have you ever come across a vascular case that completely changed the way you think?

At , you will hear from colleagues as they present rare, complex and almost unbelievable vascular pathologies, sharing the bold decisions they made, the challenges they faced, and the lessons they learned along the way.

The workshops take this learning into practice across the full aortic pathway. Explore contemporary revascularisation strategies for acute intestinal ischaemia, from endovascular techniques to hybrid and open surgical approaches. Gain hands-on experience with advanced FEVAR, master ChEVAR and EndoAnchor-assisted EVAR for hostile proximal neck anatomy, and discover practical strategies to reduce stroke risk during TEVAR for aortic arch and thoracic disease.

Looking for a different kind of challenge?
Join this year's Scavenger Hunt! Complete mini-challenges across the exhibition floor, and finish at the ESVS Booth for a chance to win one of four tickets to the ESVS 41st Annual Meeting in Lisbon, along with more than 75 ESVS Trainee Memberships for 2027.

Take part in the ESVS 40th Annual Meeting to discover extraordinary cases, sharpen your skills through hands-on workshops, and experience everything the meeting has to offer.
