HERE’S A TINY BIT OF MY STORY. Disclaimer: Long caption ahead 🤍
There was a time when I could find fault in almost everything.
The weather.
My workload.
Even the family ski trips I’d once looked forward to all year.
Somewhere between the endless to-do lists and exhaustion, life started to feel heavier than it should. And on the slopes? The same thing happened. The confidence I’d once had was replaced by hesitation, self-doubt, and a racing heart every time the terrain got challenging.
Then one day, I caught myself mid-complaint and thought:
*”Hang on... when did I become this person?”*
That question changed everything.
Because the truth is, confidence didn’t return when conditions improved.
It returned when I decided to take responsibility for my mindset.
I started paying attention to my thoughts. Learning how to calm my nervous system. Rebuilding trust in myself one small step at a time.
And just like on the mountain, progress wasn’t instant.
But every time I chose growth over staying stuck, something shifted.
That’s why I believe investing in yourself is one of the most powerful things you can do.
Not because it changes who you are.
But because it helps you reconnect with who you’ve always been beneath the fear, overwhelm, and self-doubt.
The life you want isn’t built in one giant leap.
It’s built through small, consistent choices that move you forward.
One step.
One run.
One act of self-trust at a time. 💛
What’s one small step you’re taking for yourself right now?
