How long do you usually kiss your partner? You’ve probably never timed it before. Try setting your phone’s stopwatch for six seconds. Does it feel longer than you expected? John Gottman recommends couples share a six-second kiss each day. He calls this a “kiss with potential” because research shows it can often lead to deeper intimacy.

Tomorrow is International Kissing Day, so why not give it a try? A simple kiss might be all you need to spark a little extra spice in your relationship.
