🗣️ Isabelle Lussot-Kervern is a veterinarian practicing osteopathy, phyto-aromatherapy, and acupuncture. She is also coordinator of RéPAAS (Veterinary Phyto-Aromatherapy Network), as well as a university and professional trainer.
🗣️ Ronan Cognet is a veterinarian, lecturer in veterinary schools within the postgraduate diploma (DIE) in phytotherapy, and a member of the steering committee of RéPAAS (Veterinary Phyto-Aromatherapy Network).
💬 In companion animals, demand for complementary “natural” solutions is increasing. In livestock farming as well, the use of plants is at the forefront of current developments, particularly in the search for alternatives to antibiotics and antiparasitic treatments.
In this context, training programs are expanding and professionals are becoming increasingly involved in promoting new therapeutic options based on scientific foundations.
On September 26, Isabelle Lussot-Kervern and Ronan Cognet will discuss the reasoned integration of medicinal plants and essential oils into veterinary practice.
This approach is fully aligned with the One Health framework, which considers health at the interface between animals, humans, and their environment, along with all their interactions.
