The ultimate Biotracker durability test?

A far-too-enthusiastic walk buddy đŸ˜…đŸ¶

Running, rolling around, slightly over-the-top playtime, tangled leashes, unexpected puddles
our dogs aren’t exactly known for handling their belongings with care

That’s exactly why the Biotracker is made to follow them through real life: securely attached to their collar, water-resistant and designed to stay discreet — even when the walk gets a little more athletic than planned 👀

Because a dog tracker shouldn’t stay safely tucked away in a box

It should be able to follow them everywhere đŸŸ

What’s the ultimate durability test for your dog’s collar? 👇

Back-to-school season also shakes up our dogs’ daily routines đŸ¶

Changes in walk times, less time spent outdoors, more time home alone
Even when these adjustments seem minor to us, they can gradually affect their activity levels, sleep and rest patterns.

One quieter day or one unusual night isn’t necessarily significant.

What deserves closer attention is when a change continues for several days or consistently differs from their usual habits 📊

Every dog has their own rhythm. The goal isn’t to compare them with other dogs, but to understand what’s normal for them — and spot changes more easily.

That’s the value of monitoring over time: looking beyond a single daily number and focusing on the trend taking shape 👀

Since the return to routine, have you noticed any changes in your dog — more sleep, less activity or a new walking schedule? 👇

đŸ“ș You may have spotted the Biotracker on BFM Business last night 👀

We were invited onto BFMTV to talk about Pet Tech and animal health. And the comparison used on set sums up the idea pretty well: it’s a bit like an Apple Watch for dogs đŸ¶âŒš

The Biotracker tracks everyday data such as activity, sleep, heart rate and respiratory rate 📊 as well as your dog’s location 📍

💡 The goal? To go beyond a snapshot of your dog’s health at one specific moment, and start understanding their own habits and how they evolve over time.

Because, obviously, your dog isn’t going to spontaneously tell you they haven’t been sleeping as well this week 👀

Back to school isn’t just for humans đŸŽ’đŸ¶

New routines, longer days away from home, walks at different times
September can change a lot in your dog’s everyday life too.

That’s exactly what Biotracker is here for 👀

📍 Live GPS to know where they are
❀ Cardiorespiratory health monitoring, including HRV and atrial fibrillation detection
đŸ’€ Activity tracking: sleep, activity level, calories and distance
💬 Ask Your Dog and daily reports to better understand their day

And for back-to-school season, our COMPANION Pack is €62 / $62 off from September 1–10 💙

Because keeping an eye on them doesn’t have to mean being next to them all day.

Which Biotracker feature do you use the most? 👇

💬 “You can activate Live Tracking even after your dog has already taken off, unlike some other collars where you have to remember to switch it on before they head off on an adventure.

The app is fairly intuitive and well designed. It’s divided into three sections:

- Tracker: you can access your dog’s full route history, see their live location, and set up a zone that triggers an alert if they leave it.
- Health & activity monitoring: you can check your dog’s resting heart rate and respiratory rate, and see whether they are within the normal range. This is complemented by questionnaires to help you get to know your dog better.
- Activity: very useful for knowing what your dog is doing when you’re not nearby. You can see whether they’re sleeping, running, or even travelling in a vehicle, and combine this with the zone exit alert.

Reassuring, with good battery life.”

Now that’s what we call a thorough review 💙

What if your dog’s heart rhythm changed
 without you even noticing? ❀

Atrial fibrillation is one of the most common heart rhythm disorders in dogs. And yet, it can remain silent for a long time, with no obvious symptoms.

Unusual fatigue, reduced exercise tolerance, shortness of breath, fainting
some signs may appear over time, but in certain dogs, especially larger breeds, an irregular heart rhythm can be present well before any visible symptoms.

🐕 Breeds that are particularly affected include Irish Wolfhounds, Dobermans, Newfoundlands, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and Bernese Mountain Dogs.

So how can it be detected? Can it be spotted before the first symptoms appear? And what role can at-home heart monitoring play between vet visits?

We explain everything in our latest article 👇

Did you know that a heart rhythm disorder could go unnoticed for so long in a dog?

Learn about atrial fibrillation in dogs, a common yet silent cardiac arrhythmia. Discover symptoms, at-risk breeds, and the importance of health monitoring.

Sometimes you can keep track of how long your dog sleeps, even if it’s not always easy. But it’s much harder to see what’s actually changing around their rest 😮

The Biotracker tracks your dog’s sleep and HRV, or heart rate variability, a metric measured at rest that helps you monitor their balance and recovery over time 📊

👀 And as is often the case with health data, the most interesting part isn’t necessarily one number on its own. It’s spotting what changes compared with your dog’s usual patterns.

Are they sleeping less than usual? Is their sleep routine changing? Is their HRV changing too?

These trends, observed over several days or weeks, can help you better understand what’s going on in their daily life.

Because in the end, understanding your dog’s sleep isn’t just about knowing how long they slept 🕖 It’s also about getting to know their own rhythm. đŸ©”

What about yours: total sleepyhead đŸ’€ or always ready to go again 🐕?
