Welcome to

Hello! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Rebekah, and I’m the face behind IVY Spa & Beauté.

My passion for helping others has always been a part of me. At 18, I received my first aromatherapy massage from a therapist who regularly treated cancer patients. Experiencing firsthand the profound benefits of this treatment, I knew this was the path I wanted to follow.

However, during my twenties, I pursued a corporate career, first as a stockbroker and later as an account manager. While rewarding in some ways, I knew deep down that it wasn’t my true calling.

At 29, I took an evening course in aromatherapy massage, reigniting my passion for holistic therapies. Determined to follow my heart, I trained at the Beauty Academy and the Guild of Holistic Therapies, earning my VTCT Level 3 qualification. In 2010, I took a leap of faith, left the corporate world for good, and embarked on my journey as a full-time therapist.

I worked as a mobile therapist in the UK until November 2011, when I opened my first treatment space, The Beauty Room, in Hebden Bridge. In 2017, I relocated to Cheltenham to further my qualifications and launched my second treatment space, Room One.

In 2018, I made a permanent move to the French Alps, seeking a balance between my love for the mountains and my passion for holistic beauty and wellness. That winter, I worked as an in-house massage therapist for a luxury chalet company, providing treatments to guests from around the world.

Then, in May 2019, IVY was born. The name is a tribute to my grandmother, IVY, a beautiful soul whose kindness and warmth continue to inspire me.

Since then, my mission has been to offer high-end, luxury beauty treatments to those looking to relax, recharge, and indulge in the stunning surroundings of the mountains.
