🇬🇧 *Why I stopped counting daily steps*
Before 2020, I was easily doing more than 10,000 steps a day, and they say that’s what we should do. Ideal 👣
But then covid hit, my rate went down obviously, and after that I became obsessed with how many steps a day I was doing (or wasn’t doing 😒).
Everywhere I’d go, even in my little apartment (!) I’d keep my phone in my pocket so it would record my steps - I don’t have a sports watch, and don’t want one.
Until I read that a fitness influencer that I follow on IG wasn’t counting steps. And right there, I was reminded of what I preach all the time💡
Don’t worry about the numbers, worry about how you FEEL.
It’s not about doing everything by the book, it’s about following what others do necessarily. It’s about finding what works for you.
Have you been outside today? Have you nourished your body? Did you drink water, did you stop to breathe, do you feel good?
Find what works for you, and share in the comments ✨🧡
