Showing my daughter the blueberries her mama grows
Just incase you were curious, this is NOT what I look like while picking berries.
Being a blueberry farmer while also taking care of an 8 month old baby is challenging. With the heat, the never-ending weeds, the ant bites covering my arms, and trying to keep up with the picking I’m exhausted. But then I also have to take care of a baby….so I’m beyond exhausted.
Exhausted but I feel so fulfilled. I get to spend hours and hours outdoors with my baby. I get to provide spray-free berries to my customers. And, I get to eat as many blueberries as my heart desires.
Every year I have a lil photoshoot in the field and I feel so blessed that now my daughter gets to be a part of it.
Swipe to see the previous years.
